Deposit, Payment & Cancellation Policy

• To guarantee your reservation, the first night of your stay plus taxes is charged at the time of booking.
• Any remaining balance will be processed the day before your arrival. We are unable to accept prepaid gift cards from American Express, MasterCard, or Visa.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival (or 14 days for holidays) will incur a $50 cancellation fee per room.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the first night plus taxes.
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the entire stay plus estimated taxes and fees.

Please note that early check-outs are treated as a cancellation of the remaining nights.
Refunds or gift certificates are not available for early departures or no-shows.

Adults-Only Property

This is an exclusively adults-only inn.

• All guests must be 21 years or older.
• Government-issued IDs will be checked at arrival.
• Guest rooms accommodate a maximum of two guests.

Check-In, Check-Out & Arrival Times

• Check-in times are from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Rooms are guaranteed by 4:00 PM
• Check-out is 11:00 AM

Early check-in is happily offered when available. Please note that there is no staff on-site outside of Check-In/Registration hours. If you expect to arrive after 5:00PM please call 904-829-2467 at least 24 Hours prior to check-in to request after-hours self check-in.

Parking Information

• One parking space per guest room is included with each room reservation and will be assigned upon arrival.
• Due to limited space in our parking lot, trucks and oversized vehicles cannot be accommodated. Alternative parking will be provided as necessary.

Breakfast

Enjoy our freshly prepared hot plated breakfast served daily from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM in our dining parlor. With advance notice, we are happy to accommodate gluten-free and vegetarian dietary needs.

House Guidelines

• Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the inn. Designated outdoor areas are available. Smoking indoors will result in a $250 fumigation fee
• Illegal or non-prescribed controlled substances are strictly prohibited and will result in removal from the property without refund
• Open flames and candles are not permitted anywhere on our circa 1883 historic property
• Shirts and shoes are required in all public areas
• Visitors are not permitted on the property out of respect for our registered guests

Damages, Loss & Responsibility

Guests are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay.

• Irreparably stained linens or towels will incur a charge of up to $30 per item
• Lost or stolen room keys will result in a $400 rekeying fee
• Carriage Way is not responsible for loss or theft of valuables left unattended in guest rooms or vehicles

Pets & Accessibility

We are unable to accept pets, with the exception of qualified ADA service dogs.
Comfort and therapy animals are not covered under ADA regulations.

Please note that due to the historic nature of our inn, the property is not wheelchair accessible.

Group Reservations

A $20 per night, per room Group Service Charge applies to reservations of three or more rooms, whether booked together or separately. This charge supports additional amenities, staffing, and gratuities.
